The United States' second charge sheet against five Pakistani nationals responsible for planning and executing Mumbai terror attacks in November 2008 conclusively proves involvement of terrorists based in Pakistan and indicts Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.It also nails the denials of Islamabad that Pakistan had no knowledge about the terror attacks. The second charge sheet has been filed by the United States in case of conspiracy to bomb places of public use in India.Those named in the charge sheet are Sajid Mir alias Sajid Majed, Abu Qahafa, Manzhar Iqbal alias Abu Alqama, Lashkar and Major Iqbal. Our correspondent quoting highly placed sources reports, they have played an important role in planning Mumbai terror attacks and several heinous acts in India. Sources said Sajid Majed, a senior LeT commander was a key planner of Mumbai terror attacks and provided financial and logistic support to David Coleman Hadley and financial and logistic support for conducting surveillance of the targets for the Mumbai attacks.The charge sheet says he was personally involved in training and briefing ten terrorists responsible for the Mumbai attacks and had close links with Tahawwur Rana, a dreaded terror mastermind. The charge sheet also said that Abu Qahafa was also involved in the Mumbai terror attacks and India has asked for his voice samples from Pakistani authorities. It says Abu Alqama, an LeT commander is believed to be present at Karachi when Mumbai attackers left the shores and was in the control room exhorting the terrorists to kill more and more people. Lashkar, another member named in the charge sheet, is believed to be the over all operational commander of the terrorist outfit after Zaki- Ur -Rehman Lakhvi was involved in recruitment and training and providing logistical support for Mumbai terror attacks. Major Iqbal, an ISI operative was actually involved in planning and execution of terror attacks and provided heavy money to David Coleman Hadley for meeting his expenses during his surveillance operations in India.
