US cautiously welcomes Afghan leader talks with militants

The United States has cautiously welcomed the talks between Hezb-e-Islami and Afghan government. A US State Department spokesman said in Washington we support the Afghan government's interest in reaching out to members of these groups. Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, two NATO soldiers have been killed in southern part of the country. A British soldier was killed in bomb explosion during foot patrol in Sangin district of Helmand province.
