United States has asked Pakistan to target all militant groups without discrimination including those groups, that target Pakistan's neighbours and close all safe havens. <br/><br/>US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Olson said in Washington that terrorism will not come to an end until Pakistan makes a decisive shift in its policy of tolerance towards externally focused groups. <br/><br/>He told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that Washington had conveyed Islamabad that there could be no peace in the region until the cross-border attacks stopped.<br/><br/> Olson said, U.S. would continue to support the India-Afghanistan relationship, including through the revival of a US-India-Afghanistan trilateral talks, which will take place next week on the margins of the UN General Assembly. <br/><br/>He said US welcomes India's provision of training and non-lethal security assistance to Afghanistan and its significant development contributions over the past decade.
