The United States asks Pakistan to crack whip against terrorists operating from its soil. In an exclusive interview to our Correspondent Vijay Raina the US special envoy to OIC Rashid Hussain said that it is in the interest of India, Pakistan and the region on the whole. He further said that there can be no justification for terrorism even if anybody has complaints against certain policies. Mr. Hussain maintained that there can be no good or bad Taliban. The statement assumes importance in the wake of reports that attempts are being made to push in Taliban Haqani in the government in Afghanistan. India has always resisted such attempts saying any group having a violent background should not be part of any government there. He asserted that this is totally unacceptable to the United States. Mr. Hussain said, Washinton has a comprehensive counter-terrorism partnership with New Delhi and the two countries will continue to work together to eradicate the menace which is posing a great threat to the global peace. He said, the policy of United States is to work with the governments across the globe to deal with this issue effectively.
