The US has asked Pakistan to take immediate action to reign in the Haqqani network. Talking to reporters during a press conference in Washington on Monday, Pentagon spokesman George Little underlined that the terror group has the blood of American soldiers and those of its allies on its hand. The tough message coming from Pentagon is in continuation of the statements from top US officials, including Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to reign in the Haqqani network, which is blamed for last week's deadly attack on American embassy in Kabul.
