A U.S. team of anti-terrorism experts has joined Yemeni anti-terrorism units in a mission to hunt down the suspect behind sending two bomb shipments to the United States last week. According to a Yemeni official, the US team will help Yemeni counter- terrorism forces to capture the suspect who is believed to be a Saudi national bomb maker identified as Ibrahim al-Asiri. He said the mission was also designed to capture the U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was put on hit list by Washington and was trailed earlier today in absentia by a Yemeni security court in Sanaa for links to terrorist crimes. The official said the joint mission will be carried out in eastern and southern provinces of Marib and Shabwa.
