Dr. Urjit Patel today assumed Charges of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor. The central bank said in a press statement said that Dr. Urjit R. Patel assumed charge as the 24th Governor of the RBI. Dr. Patel succeeds Raghuram Rajan.
