Uri resident arrested in connection with terror attack on CRPF camp in Srinagar

In Jammu and Kashmir, another arrest has been reported in connection with Bemina terror attack in which two militants and five CRPF jawans were killed on Wednesday.

A resident of Uri has been arrested today where as indicating Pakistani hand, Abu Talib, a resident of Multan in Pakistan,was picked up yesterday.

The intelligence agencies traced a call made by the militant to his handlers in Pakistan soon after the attack. Their interrogation is on.

Meanwhile,curfew continues in Srinagar district for the second day today. Our srinagar corespondent quoting police sources reports that situation is by and large calm and there has been no report of any untoward incident so far.

The curfew was imposed as a precautionary measure after killing of a civilian in alleged CRPF firing in interior srinagar city.

It is said that ,the vehicle of CRPF personnel was on its way to SKIMS Hospital, where the victims of Bemina terror attack were admitted.

They had to donate blood for their colleagues injured in the terror attack.They allegedly opened fire after coming under attack by a group of stone pelters in Zoonimar area.
