Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi today reviewed the security situation in Kashmir in the backdrop of the deadly militant attack on the army base in Uri Baramulla on Sunday and the ongoing unrest in the Valley. Mr Mehrishi arrived in Srinagar early this morning. He held series of meetings to review security situation across Kashmir Valley. <br/><br/>He had detailed discussion with top officials from various security forces, police and intelligence agencies. Mr Mehrishi also called on Governor N.N. Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to discuss the prevailing situation in the Valley. He left for New Delhi in the evening.
