Urdu poet Munawwar Rana today joined the league of writers returning their awards protesting the growing intolerance in the country. Rana announced his decision during a live television show in New Delhi today. Rana said he is not happy with the current atmosphere in the country. He also said that he will not accept any government recognition in future.
