The Urban Development Ministry will review the progress in implementation of its various schemes in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh today. <br/><br/>An official release by the ministry yesterday said that Urban Development Secretary Rajiv Gauba will take stock of implementation of new urban missions Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Smart City Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission in a meeting in Chandigarh. <br/><br/>The meeting will be held as a part of state-wise review being held by the Ministry of Urban Development. Similar review meetings have already been held in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Jaipur and Visakhapatnam. Twenty cities in Haryana, 16 in Punjab and Chandigarh have been included in AMRUT which is aimed at improving basic urban infrastructure.
