In Kerala, uproarious scenes marked the very first day of the assembly session that began on Monday. Speaker G Karthikeyan had a tough time controlling the aggressive opposition right from the question hour. The opposition blamed the UDF government for its alleged role in influencing and tarnishing the image of judiciary in the palmolein import case. They demanded removal of Chief Whip PC George for his alleged derogatory remarks against Special Vigilance Judge Haneef.Despite Chief Minister's clarification highlighting the supremacy of Judiciary, the opposition continued agitation and trooped into the well of the house. AIR correspondent reports, the speaker was forced to rush through the business and adjourn the house for the day.
