Uproarious scene marked the Legislative Session in Karnataka today. The Opposition was united to press for adjournment motion on corruption charges against the Chief Minister and some of his Cabinet colleagues.The leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah sought permission from the Speaker to move the adjournment motion in the Assembly. In the absence of the Chief Minister, Suresh Kumar, the Law minister argued that this issue cannot be taken under rule 60 of the adjournment motion. Thereafter the Speaker gave the ruling that the subject raised does not come under rule 60. The Opposition then rushed into the well of the House demanding for the motion. When the Opposition refused to go back to their seats, the Speaker adjourned the House till 3.00 pm. The Council too witnessed the same commotion since morning.
