Uproarious scenes were witnessed in the Rajya Sabha as soon as the House met for the day. LJP and RJD members led by Ram Vilas Paswan wanted to raise the issue of saffron terror. The members were demanding suspension of the Question Hour to discuss the issue. The BJP members protested against LJP and RJD members demand. While, Shiv Sena members staged a walk out in the Lok Sabha today to protest the remarks by the Home Minister, Mr. P Chidambaram on saffron terrorism at a conference in New Delhi yesterday. Raising pitch over the issue, they were demanding an apology from the Home Minister. Several BJP members joined the Shiv Sena members on the issue, but did not walk out. Our Correspondent says that the Home Minister had talked about the recently uncovered phenomenon on saffron terrorism that has been implicated in many bomb blasts. He was addressing a conference of DGPs and IGs. The issue was also raised in the Rajya Sabha when the house met this morning.
