Both houses of Parliament have been adjourned on the women's reservation issue. While the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the third time till 3.00 p.m, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the fourth time till 4.00 p.m.As soon as the Lok Sabha re-assembled at 2 PM, members belonging to Samajwadi Party and RJD trooped into the well of the house demanding that the suspension of their party members in the Rajya Sabha should be withdrawn. The Presiding Officer, Mr Francisco Sardinha, adjourned the house till 4 PM.The Constitutional Amendment bill providing for 33 per cent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and state assemblies which was moved in the House on Monday is listed for consideration on Tuesday. The Bill could not be debated or put to vote on Monday amidst unprecedented pandemonium and unruly scenes in the House after it was moved.
