Uproar continues in Lok Sabha over Lalit Modi row, other issues

The Lok Sabha was adjourned twice today in the pre-lunch session. As the House met after the first adjournment at noon, the uproar over the Lalit Modi controversy continued to rock the House. As soon as the House met, Congress members continued demanding the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj over the issue. <br/><br/>The House witnessed uproar when Congress and some other opposition members trooped into the well chanting slogans despite the Speaker's warning no to do so. Earlier, Mrs Sumitra Mahajan rejected adjournment notices given by members of different political parties. When the Question Hour began, the sloganeering reached its peak and the agitating opposition members continued defying the Speaker's ruling not to display placards. Amidst the din the Speaker adjourned the House till 2 p.m.
