In Uttar Pradesh the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Wednesday declared results of its Provincial Civil Services examinations of 2007 at Allahabad.<br/><br/>Pushpraj Singh stood first while Bhawna Gulati from Lucknow first among women aspirants. She is second in over all merit list. A total of 265 candidates have got final selection for several state civil services including 6 posts for Sub District Magistrate and 65 for Deputy Superintendent of Police posts.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that about 51 thousand candidates were appeared for main examination after clearing preliminary examination. <br/><br/>A total of 4770 candidates were invited for interview for final selection. The Allahabad High Court had set aside cast based reservation policy of UPPSC. <br/><br/>The Commission had moved the Supreme Court against the decision of Allahabad High Court and after getting stay order against High Court verdict from Apex court the commission declared final results. It will be subject to the final decision of the apex court.<br/>
