A Delhi court today rejected CBI's report giving a clean chit to former IPS officer Amod Kanth in Uphaar cinema hall fire tragedy. The Court said, there is sufficient evidence to prosecute Kanth for allowing extra seats in the hall where 59 movie-watchers died in a blaze in 1997.Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjeev Kumar rejected the investigation report of CBI and issued summons against Amod Kanth for the 20th of this month.
