Upcoming Japan visit to boost relations between New Delhi, Tokyo: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his Japan visit starting this Saturday, will boost relations between New Delhi and Tokyo. In a statement yesterday, Mr. Modi said, he looks the visit as an opportunity to take the ties of the two countries to a new level and increase cooperation in various fields. He said, it will be his first bilateral visit outside the subcontinent. Mr. Modi said that he was to visit Japan in early July but it could not materialize due to Parliament session.
The Prime Minister said, Japan's friendship with India is time tested and the two vibrant democracies is committed to advancing peace and prosperity in the world. He said, the scale of innovation and level of precision among the people of Japan is admirable. Mr Modi said, during his visit, he will interact with all sections of Japanese society from students, political leaders to captains of industry.
The Prime Minister said, he has very warm memories of visiting Japan as a Chief Minister and is excited to meet Prime Minister Shinzo Abe as he respects his leadership and enjoy a warm relationship with him from previous meetings.
