The Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that the UPA Government at the Centre would use all the forces to alleviate poverty and achieve inclusive growth in the country. Addressing a public meeting at Villianoor in Puducherry today, he said the faster growth should benefit the poor and that is why all programmes are targeting poor and weaker sections of the Society. It is to help those poor people, schemes such as MGNREG, waiving off loans to the tune of 70 thousand crore rupees were brought by the Congress led UPA Government. The Congress would bring more youth who understand the need for education, health care and jobs, to the party and also to change the politics in the country, he added. He called upon the people to vote for the congress so as to make Puducherry benefit from its potential.
