The UPA Goverment hopes the forthcoming winter session of Parliament will be productive and be able to pass several important legislations beneficial to common man.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Finance Minister P. Chidambaram said, very important issues concerning the welfare of the people are awaiting passage in Parliament. He said, the government is also taking number of steps to revive economic growth and growth rate is expected to pick up in the last two quarters.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tiwari said all efforts are being made to reach out to all political parties. He said, the government will complete its full 5 year term.
