UPA -2 completes third year of governance on May 22

The achievements of the UPA-2 have come for appreciation from its ministers.Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Law and Justice Minister Salman Khurshid said his government has laid a strong foundation and hoped that the government will win the confidence of the people in several other sectors by achieving the targets.

The Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad said the government has successfully overcome the burden due to the global economic meltdown during its first tenure. He said despite the spill over of the burden, the government has performed well in many sectors including health, roads and education.

The Minister of State in PMO, Mr V. Narayanasamy said the government has taken several measures in agriculture, banking and industry.

Our Correspondent reports that the UPA-2 will be completing its third year of governance on 22nd of May this year.
