In Uttar Pradesh, light to heavy rain lashed several parts of the state since this morning bringing down the temperature. Gorakhpur recorded 15.6 millimetre rain today. Siddharthnagar received 20 mm of rainfall while Agra, Allahabad, Ayodhya and Varanasi recorded mild rainfall today.Water level of several rivers including Ghaghra, Sharda and Ganga also started rising due to heavy rain in their catchments.
