In Uttar Pradesh at least 12 persons were killed and more than 25 injured in an accident Sunday afternoon in Gonda district. <br/>Quoting official sources our Lucknow correspondent reports that this accident happened when a sand loaded truck dashed against Ayodhya bound passenger train on Gorakhpur Ayodhya route near Mankapur railway station at a no man railway crossing.11 persons died on the spot including the driver of truck while one train passenger succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Over 25 injured, some of them seriously, have been admitted to various hospitals. Senior railway and administrative officers have reached the spot to monitor rescue operation.<br/>
