Uttar Pradesh government has decided to review, every 15 days, the preparations for Kumbh Mela to be held at Allahabad in January next year. The government has also directed all concerned departments to complete their Mela related works by November. Chief Secretary Javed Usmani reviewed Mela preparations with all concerned departments yesterday. The state government has already set up a committee of senior officers under the Chairmanship of Urban Development Minister to organise the fair.
