In Uttar Pradesh, three persons arrested in connection with the murder of Chief Medical Officer Lucknow, Dr. B P Singh, have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. They were produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate and the court sent them to jail till July 1st. State government has claimed that they have confessed to their involvement in CMO Dr. Singh's murder. Dr. Singh was shot dead on April 2nd in Gomati Nagar area at his residence.
