In Uttar Pradesh state tourism department has hired 30 guides to accompany the Commonwealth Games athletes and officials visiting to Taj city Agra. Quoting Archaeological Survey of India officials our Lucknow correspondent reports he eastern gate of the Taj Mahal premises has been reserved for the CWG visitors while general public will have to use the western and southern entrance gates. It is also said visitors from South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation SAARC nations will have to pay 550 rupees while other foreign tourists will have to pay 250 more to get entry at Taj Mahal. The department has said athletes and officials visiting the Taj Mahal have not been excused from buying entrance tickets. The Railways will run a special Shatabdi train from Delhi to Agra to enable participants and officials of the Commonwealth Games visiting Taj Mahal and other monuments. The railways catering corporation has made the arrangements for CWG athletes to buy the tickets in advance.
