In Uttar Pradesh above 51 percent voting was reported till 5 PM in all 15 constituencies of Amethi, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Phulpur, Allahabad, Faizabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Bahraich, Kaiserganj, Shravasti, Gonda, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar and Bhadohi.

AIR Correspondent reports from Amethi that maximum of over 56 percent voting was reported from Ambedkarnagar constituency followed by above 54 percent in Basti constituency. Above 53 percent voters` turnout has been reported from Sultanpur, Faizabad, Bahraich and Kaiserganj seats. Above 51 persent polling has taken place in Allahabad, Shrawasti and Sant Kabir Nagar seats.

In the high profile Amethi and Kaushambi constituencies over 50 percent polling has taken place. In Bhadohi and Gonda constituencies above 49 percent polling is reported and minimum of nearly 48 percent voting was reported from Pratapgarh and Phulpur constituencies.
