In Utter Pradesh, rain and thunder shower occurred in many places in the state in last twenty four hours .Jhansi,Allahabad,Agra and Varanasi divisions have recorded good rain fall .According to Met department, Jhansi recorded about 90 mm rain in last thirty six hours while Varanasi ,Mirzapur Agra, Hamirpur ,Khiri, Gorakhpur Kanpur recorded good rain fall in last thirty six hours . The main rivers Ganga and Yamuna are also rising in some places in last two days. Ganga is rising in Varanasi,Mirzapur and Gazipur while water level of Yamuna has also risen in Allahabad and some other places .
