In Uttar Pradesh, the weather has become pleasant in most of the eastern districts due to heavy to moderate rain during the day. Certain western districts have also received sacattered rainfall. Agricultural experts say, the rain was much needed for the Kharif crops. <br/><br/>In the eastern part, 10 to 30 millimetre rain has been recorded in various districts of Azamgarh, Gorakhpur and Basti divisions till late evening. The rain will benefit the Kharif crops. The farmers say that they will be able to compensate the losses incurred due to delay in monsoon. In urban areas the people faced difficulty as the low lying areas in several cities were waterlogged due to heavy rain.
