In Uttar Pradesh re-polling is being held today at six polling booths in Agra, Etawah and Firozabad constituencies where polling was held on April 24.

AIR Correspondent reports that after getting reports about irregularities during the Thursday`s voting the commission had countermanded the voting and had directed for repolling at six polling booths one each in Jalesar, Auraiya , Sirsaganj, Dibiyapur assembly segments and two polling booths in Jasrana assembly segment of three Lok Sabha seats.

Repolling began at 7 in the morning and it will conclude at 6 in the evening.

Our correspondent reports that adequate security arrangements have been made for peaceful and event free repolling.
