The Uttar Pradesh government has put restriction on usage of electricity by commercial establishments in view of acute shortage of power in the state.The government has ordered closure of shops and other business establishments by seven in the evening. Restaurants will be open till 10 pm. Street lights will be lit from 8 pm to 4 am.AIR Gorakhpur correspondent says the demand of electricity has increased due to heat wave conditions in the state.
