Amidst hectic campaigning in Uttar Pradesh the nomination for 56 assembly constituencies of third phase also began on Saturday. 18 candidates have filed their nomination for the third phase on Saturday. 284 candidates filed their papers for second phase while in first phase, eleven candidates withdraw their nomination leaving 928 candidates in the fray so far.The last date for withdrawal of nomination for first phase is 23rd January. The atmosphere for elections in Uttar Pradesh is building pace with a number of meetings being addressed by leaders of different political parties. Young voters and development issues are now occupying more space in public meetings.Addressing a rally in Siddarthnagar district the BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra said that only BSP government is taking care of all sections of society.Addressing rallies in Allahabad and Sonbhadra Congress leader Rahul Gandhi assured people that his aim is not just winning election but to change the atmosphere of Uttar Pradesh.In a meeting in Hardoi, the BJP president Nitin Gadkari alleged that congress is responsible for price rise. While Samjawadi party said that party manifesto is welcomed by the youth of the state. Meanwhile the electioneering for first three phases is on and the election tempo is getting peak in 170 assembly constituencies of these three phases.
