The Election Commission today served show cause notices to Rashtriya Lok Dal leader, Member of Parliament Jayant Choudhury along with three others for violating the Election Model Code of Conduct over distributing money in Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Returning officer Goverdhan assembly constituency Rekha Chauhan told our Lucknow correspondent that they have been given 24 hours time to reply the notices. She said that after viewing video recording of a meeting in the constituency, notice has been served. She said in the meeting Chowdhury was seen collecting money and giving to a party candidate. Jayant Choudhury is son of RLD chief and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh and he is also a candidate from Math assembly seat.
