In Uttar Pradesh, the state BJP President Surya Pratap Shahi has resigned after the dismal performance of his party in the assembly elections.Talking to AIR Lucknow correspondent Shahi said that he has written a letter to the national President of the party Nitin Gadkari. Replying to a question he said he owns the moral responsibility for the poor performance of BJP in Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.
