In Uttar Pradesh, notification for the second phase of Assembly elections will be issued today. Fifty nine constituencies spread over nine districts of eastern UP will go to polls in this phase on February 11.The process of filing nominations for the second phase will begin with issuance of notification. A total of 12,995 polling stations will be set up for more than 1, 92,00,000 voters in this phase.For the first phase of Assembly elections, a total of 45 candidates have filed nominations so far. January 19 is last date for filing nominations for this phase. AIR correspondent reports that campaigning is in full swing in the state.
