UP Police detains at least nine persons in connection with UP bomb blast

<br/>At least nine people have been detained in connection with Monday’s explosion in which UP Cabinet Minster Nandi Gopal Gupta Nandi and five others were injured and one person lost his life. The Deputy Inspector General of Police B B Sharma told AIR Allahabad correspondent that no formal arrest has been made in this case so far. However DIG police did not disclose the exact number of detained persons. <br/><br/>The special task force IG, Rajni Kant Mishra is supervising the investigation and STF operation in this case.<br/> Meanwhile, police has registered the formal FIR in Kotwali Police Station on this bomb explosion. According to police sources, several police teams are engaged to get the clue about culprits. On Monday evening, police team had raided a suspected house belongs to a political party in Chaka block of Naini area. <br/><br/>The injured cabinet minister is undergoing treatment at Lucknow’s Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Medical Institute (SGPGI). He is in critical care unit of the hospital. The other five injured including two seriously injured are being treated in a private hospital of Allahabad.
