In Uttar Pradesh police has arrested a self-proclaimed area commander of Nepal-based Akhil Tarai Mukti Morcha along with his two accomplices in Maharajganj district. Quoting police sources our Lucknow correspondent reports that they were arrested after an encounter at Jiginhwa barrier on Indo-Nepal border. They have been identified as Mohd. Ishtiyaq, who is the area commander of Mukti Morcha and Mohd Taqi Ahmad and Anil. Police has also recovered two country-made firearms, US-made 7.65 mm pistol along with cartridges from their possession. Police has claimed that Mohd. Ishtiyaq and Taqi were wanted by Nepal police in connection with several criminal cases.<br/><br/> <br/><br/><br/>
