In Uttar Pradesh the special Task Force STF of state police have arrested 30 persons including 10 young girls and kingpins of the gang from different locations in Lucknow allegedly involved in cheating and collecting money in the name of installing towers of different mobile service provider companies on rent. The arrested youths and girls are from different districts of the state and few of them are from West Bengal and Delhi.Quoting STF sources our Allahabad correspondent reports that they asked the persons to deposit money in the name of taxes and processing charges in the bank accounts opened on fake documents.Police has said as modus operandi the accused published advertisements in different newspapers asking the interested persons to contact different mobile numbers for installing towers on their land or houses on rent.Police has recovered above one lakhs rupees, above 150 mobile phones and computers from them. Police has said that a person from Etah district had lodged FIR against the fraud and during the investigation the racket has been busted.
