In Uttar Pradesh, the ?administration has recovered over 80 bodies which were found adrift in the river Ganga in Unnao since yesterday. District Magistrate, Unnao, Soumya Agrawal said that over 80 bodies which were recovered, are being buried in the sands of Ganga with due respect. Several JCB machines were seen digging mass graves on the banks of Ganga near Pariyar ghat of Unnao.
There was a visible unrest not only in common men but also in administrative circles as the huge number of dead bodies were recovered in Ganga just a day before the Makar Sankranti. The local residents and village heads have supported the idea of burying the recovered corpses on the bank of Ganga. Earlier in the day the forensic experts and doctor's team could anyhow managed to collect the samples from the highly decomposed bodies due to extremely repelling stench.
