Uttar Pradesh government has decided to conduct a judicial probe into the violence that erupted during the 18 days long farmers' protests in Aligarh and Mathura districts in which 3 persons including 2 farmers and one security personnel were killed at Aligarh. AIR correspondent reports that the farmers are demanding higher compensation for the land acquired for a township project along the Delhi-Agra Expressway.
