In Uttar Pradesh, major opposition parties have alleged that the election norms were being flouted by the ruling party BSP for the Legislative Council elections for the local bodies’ constituencies commencing on 7th of next month.<br/><br/>Main Opposition the Samajwadi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party have alleged that all 10 instructions issued by the Election Commission for free and fair elections including no use of sirens and red and blue beacons by the ministers' vehicles and fixation of hoardings are being violated by the ruling party.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, controversial independent MLA and former Minister of Mulayam Singh Government Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya has demanded deployment of Para military forces and independent observer in Pratapgarh district. He has said that local administration is working for the ruling party candidate and for ensuring free and fair polling deployment of para military forces, as well as independent observer is must.<br/>
