UP minister, sons sentenced in MP under Arms' Act

<br/>In Madhya Pradesh, court of Chief Judicial Magistrate in Shivpuri has sentenced a minister of Uttar Pradesh Ratan Ahirwar and his two sons to one year imprisonment each and imposed a fine of one thousand rupees each on the charge of illegal possession of arms. The court of B L Prajapati heard the case and awarded punishment yesterday. However, the court granted bail to all the three accused. Shivpuri police had caught a vehicle and arrested Ratan Ahirwar and his sons Rohit and Mohit traveling in it during patrolling on 22 May 2006. Police also recovered a 12-bore country made pistol and two live cartridges from them. They were booked under relative sections of Arms Act.
