In Uttar Pradesh CBI arrested vice chairman of Aligarh Development Authority -ADA in a Mid- Day Meal -MDM Scam in Aligarh today. Police said CBI sleuths with assistance of local police of Aligarh nabbed JB Singh from his residence under Quarsi ploice station in Aligarh in connection of a rupees 19 crore scam. The arrest was made in connection with the scam which took place when JB Singh was posted as development officer in the Mainpuri district between 2008 and 2010. AIR correspondent reports that one of the other accused in the scam and the then District Magistrate of Mainpuri Sachchidanand Nand Dubey had already been arrested.
