UP: Mayawati warns BJP to remain cautious while making any remark about Ayodhya

In Uttar Pradesh, BSP Supremo and former Chief Minister Mayawati has warned the BJP to remain cautious while making any remark about Ayodhya as the matter is sub-judice and any irresponsible statement can vitiate the atmosphere.

Referring to Narendra Modi's scheduled rally in Ayodhya today, she said that he should ensure that the saffron party and others should refrain from making any controversial remarks in the context of Ayodhya.

Mayawati also demanded immediate ban on the poll campaigning of Amit Shah of BJP and Abu Azami of Samajwadi Party, who she said, are behaving in extremely unaccepatable way through issuing irresponsible and malicious statements with a target of hurting the sentiments of certain sections of the people.

Our Lucknow correspondent reports that Mayawati also demanded that the remaining two phases of the Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh must be conducted only under the supervision of central para military forces and not under the state police. She said that Election Commission should take special care about it in Azamgarh where SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is contesting. She alleged that the power hungry Samajwadi Party can go to any extent to grab power as it was SP which helped Kalyan Singh win the last Lok Sabha elections, who held reigns at the time of razing the disputed structure in Ayodhya.
