In Uttar Pradesh, Lokayukta Justice N K Mehrotra has dropped complaints of corruption against four Ministers of Mayawati government.Quoting high placed sources, AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the Lokayukta has said that complaints for corruption, land grabbing, disproportionate assets and misuse of MLA funds have not been found maintainable against Horticulture Minister Narain Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Lalji Verma, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Prasad Choudhary and Homeopathy Medical Minister Nand Gopal Gupta alias Nandi.Four ministers including Rajesh Tripathi, Awadhpal Singh, Rangnath Mishra and Badshah Singh have already been sacked by the Chief Minister on the basis of their indictment by the Lokayukta in corrupt practices.Investigation is still pending against Higher Education Minister Rakesh Dhar Tripathi, Power Minister Ramveer Upadhyaya, Agriculture Minister Choudhary Laxmi Narayan and sports Minister Awadhpal.
