The Local urban body election in Uttar Pradesh may get delayed as the state government has filed application in Allahabad high court requesting for more time to conduct the elections. The state government has said in his application that the complete census data of 2011 is still not available with them. The election Commissions and census department have also filed separate applications in High Court and requested for more time.The matter will be heard on Wednesday. Earlier On 19 October the Allahabad High Court recently had ordered the Uttar Pradesh government to issue elections notifications by 31st October for Local Urban body elections .
