In Uttar Pradesh, voting will be taking place tomorrow for second phase of three tier local body polls. All arrangements have been completed and poll personnel have reached to their respective polling centres. AIR Allahabad correspondent reports that more than 96 lakhs 64 thousand voters would decide the political fate of 18363 candidates including 6690 women in tomorrow`s voting. 10259 polling booths have been set up and of them above 4500 have been identified as sensitive and hyper sensitive.Polling will be held at a total of 163 Local bodies spread over 17 districts and 5 Municipal Corporations of Agra, Allahabad, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Bareilly. 53 candidates have been declared elected unopposed including chairman for one Nagar Panchayat.Massive security arrangements have been made for peaceful and impartial polling. Inter district borders are sealed and holiday is declared in poll bound districts.The State Election Commission has deployed observers for each poll bound districts to ensure independent polling.First phase of elections was held on June 24 in which 63 percent polling was recorded. Polling for Local Bodies Election at Lucknow was held on June 23.
