UP Legislative Council Election: Mayawati files her nomination

Bahujan Samaj Party President and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today filed her nomination for the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council or Vidhan Parishad biennial elections. The nomination papers filed in two sets. <br/><br/>The seven other BSP candidates for Legislative council also filed their nomination papers today.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister completed the process of her nomination before the Returning Officer for the Vidhan Parishad election and Principal Secretary of the Legislative assembly (Vidhan Sabha) Pradeep Kumar Dubey in the forenoon in Luck now. <br/><br/>The National General Secretary of B.S.P. and MP Satish Chandra Mishra, several members of the State Council of Ministers, State President of BSP and Minister, Mr. Swami Prasad Maurya and a large number of party office-bearers and legislators were also present on the occasion.<br/><br/>Besides Chief Minister, other BSP candidates -Rishipal Gautam, Satish Chandra Jatav, Dr. Ramkumar Kuril, Athar Khan, Subodh Kumar Parashar Lalchand Nishad and Virendra Kumar Chauhan also filed their papers today for Vidhan Parishad elections.
