In Uttar Pradesh, the Legislative Council was adjourned till noon on the alleged deteriorating law and order issue on the opening day of the Monsoon session.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that as soon as the house assembled for today's business members of entire opposition trooped into well raising slogans against the government. They also demanded resignation of the Chief Minister for her alleged failure on this issue. The Chairman Mr. Ganesh Shanker Pander requested members repeatedly to maintain order in the house but it was not heeded by the members forcing an half an hour adjournment. Later it was extended till noon.The state assembly was adjourned for the day after passing obituary references over the death of two sitting members of the house including Anil Kumar Singh Yadav and Dr. Kaushal Kishore. Both were members of Samajwadi Party. The Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati was also present in the house.
